Galina shares her personal experience: how international exhibitions and global trends are changing the approach to creating premium interiors, and why physical space is always more important than 3D visualization.

I used to be skeptical about design exhibitions and thought: “Why spend so much time on these events? I could be doing so much work on a project! Everything is available online anyway.”

Years passed, and my experience—from designer to studio director—grew as well. And only with time did I realize: it is exhibitions that provide the kind of experience you simply can’t get online. This is especially evident at large-scale events like the Salone del Mobile—when you immerse yourself in an environment where design lives, interacts, and evokes emotions.

It is at exhibitions that you can:

• see the actual scale and proportions of objects
• understand how materials and textures work
• evaluate lighting not in a render, but in a real space
• feel the comfort of furniture, not just its appearance
• spot trends before they become mainstream

And most importantly—to develop your own sense of style and taste.

Hello! This is Galyna, the studio’s founder, speaking.

I’ve been in the design field for over 8 years. Two years ago, I took the plunge and started my own studio.

Why?

So I could create exactly as I feel.
On a grander scale. With more depth. With intention.

I’m drawn to comfortable minimalism—spaces where there are no random elements, but there is character. I love working on details that become focal points and subtly highlight the client’s personality. It’s these details that set the mood and bring the interior to life.
That’s why I’m always personally involved in developing the concept and guiding the team at every stage. It is important to me that every decision is well-reasoned, logical, and consistent with the overall architecture of the space.

In collaboration, I value openness and trust above all else.
When all cards are on the table, a clear understanding emerges of which decisions will truly be the right ones.
Project implementation takes a year, and sometimes even longer. It is a lengthy process that requires consistency, patience, and mutual respect. Only in an atmosphere of trust between the client and the designer can a truly exquisite result be achieved.
My goal is to ensure that even the construction phase proceeds as smoothly and stress-free as possible. I want the client to feel confident, not anxious.

I truly love architecture and everything related to it.
I have experience working at an architectural bureau, and it was there that I finally decided that I wanted to design interior spaces.
That’s why today, at our studio, we develop not only interiors but also concepts for private homes with well-thought-out landscaping. We think architecturally—from the overall concept of a project down to the smallest detail in the interior.
